Write a Letter!
Letters are a very powerful advocacy communication tool. Why? Because someone who takes the time and trouble to write and send a letter is always viewed as being serious, passionate and responsible. Most government, media and corporate executives know that people dislike writing letters, and
so letters command respect and are read, not discarded.
Don’t underestimate your letter writing skills, and never be shy about writing a letter. Just keep it short, simple and to the point. Where your health or the health of a loved one is concerned you do not want delays in testing or treatment. Any delay could be dangerous. Manitobans have waited long enough. You need dramatic improvements in wait times and you want those improvements now.
